Applications for Renewal of Customs Clearing Agents Licences 2020

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) reminds Customs Clearing Agents that their licenses will expire on 31st December, 2019 with the exception of the 3 year Authorised Economic Operators (AEO) licences.

Provisions relating to the licensing of Customs Clearing Agents are contained in Section 145 of the East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004 and Regulations 149-152 of the East African Community Customs Management Regulations, 2010.

All applicants are requested to visit KRA website, www.kra.go.ke to download the application Form C20 and view all other licensing requirements.

The applications for renewal of licenses are only open to the Customs Clearing Agent firms, including AEO firms who had been vetted by the Customs Agents Evaluation Committee and found compliant / approved. The applications shall be submitted to Licensing Office, Sameer Business Park, Mombasa Road, Block B3, 2nd Floor.

The closing date for applications is 31st December, 2019.
