Suspects charged with forgery of KRA VIP parking stickers

Two suspects, Juma Iddi Musungu and Jacqueline Bierera Mogeni have been separately charged at Milimani Chief Magistrate’s Court with the offence of forgery of KRA VIP parking stickers.

They were arrested on 1st March 2022 after KRA officers conducted a crackdown on motor vehicle bearing KRA VIP parking stickers and parked within Nairobi Central Business District. It was discovered that stickers number NCCA69/HON/2021 and NCCA89/HON/2021 affixed motor vehicles belonging to the suspects were not genuine and the parking fees had not been paid. The suspects were subsequently identified and arrested.

KRA has intensified efforts to ensure that no Government levies are lost. Members of the public are urged to remain vigilant and report any such malpractices to ensure that the Government collects the much needed revenue.
