Notice on Updating of Tenant Records for Nairobi City County Government Rental / Tenant Purchase Scheme / Site and Service Market Stalls

PUBLIC NOTICES 22/09/2021

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) was appointed by the Nairobi City County Government (NCCG) as the principal agent for overall revenue collection for all county revenue vide Gazette Notice No. 1967 dated 6th March, 2020.

Notice is hereby given that the Kenya Revenue Authority in conjunction with the Nairobi City County Government and the Nairobi Metropolitan Services will be undertaking an exercise to update records of all the tenants of Nairobi City County market stalls for purposes of accounting for revenue arising from the stalls.

Tenants are advised to visit KRA Offices at Times Towers Ground Floor Banking Hall with the original and a copy of the following documents:-

  1. Tenant rental card/Allotment letters/Lease Agreement
  2. National identity card
  3. KRA PIN
  4. Payment receipts for the last 3 months
  5. Any other document(s) proving tenancy

 

Tenants should ensure that they provide the above details and pay their arrears by 5th October, 2021 to avoid enforcement action.
